Bak Kut Teh from Restoran Yee Heong, Bandar Puchong Jaya

DSC00717

Location: Restoran Yee Heong, Jalan Kenari 19A, Bandar Puchong Jaya.

The restaurant is located in the commercial zone opposite the highway from IOI mall.  Here’s an artistic sketch on the location:

location BKT

And what do you get? Smooth, thick and fragrant BKT soup, the formula for great taste!! Just for comparison, no BKT along the stretch of Old Klang Road even come close. There are many fans of Klang BKT so I’m not going to start a war comparing with those there.

Nasi Kukus Pandan @ Pertama Complex

DSC01642

A customer brought me to this place during lunch ~ it was a surprise to my taste bud.. Following her recommendation we ordered the Nasi Kukus Pandan and Ayam Dara Goreng Berempah combo:

The steamed rice is fragrant, so is the fried ‘virgin’ chicken. The outer part of the chicken is crispy yet at the same time the flesh is still soft, juicy and tender, on top of being fresh and sweet! Definitely worth RM4.50 for this!

The service was quite fast and the chicken is served still sizzling fresh from the wok.

My new pets – Hermit Crabs from Bagan Lalang

Damien and Mel was holding onto our loot the other day, just got these from Damien last night. Looked relatively clean, must be so since Mel said she’s gonna give them a bath Sunday afternoon.

Went to buy them a crabitat (a plastic aquarium) and some empty shells after work.

Originally I got 4, but one got naked and died sometime during the day (checked vital signs and certified dead).

Witnessed one hermie moving house (climbed out one shell and into another ~ cool)

The one with the new home. Very shy/afraid and grabs onto everything tightly.

Photography: Bagan Lalang; Convoy, Sunset, Seafood and Crabs

Note: Bagan Lalang is a coastal beach in Sepang. Around 80km drive from Bandar Sungai Besi. Journey might take a little more than an hour due to small kampung roads after the Sepang F1 Circuit. http://wikitravel.org/en/Bagan_Lalang

The Sunsets, taken out from car window and windscreen while driving. Bad focusing since car is moving. Arrived destination too late for beach side sunset photography.
